Enrolled at California School of Fine Arts in 1958, painting class with Ralph Du Casse and drawing class with Elmer Bischoff. Other instructors included Manuel Neri, William Morehouse, Richard Diebenkorn, and Frank Lobdell. BFA, San Francisco Arts Insitute, 1961; MFA, Mills College, 1963. Professor, Sacramento State College, 1970-1979; Teacher, San Francisco Arts Institute, 1979 to present.
